Week 17 Devlog: Final

This will be the final devlog for this class! There are a few new differences from last build, which include new niagara particles, a dialogue system, an AI follow character, and AI patrol character, outside audio, footstep SFX for grass, sand, concrete, and wood, skins for both AI's and the player, PPV effects, and some overall tweaking. The new build is available, but it does have 2-3 noticeable issues: 1) The sky HDRI still won't package properly, 2) The nav mesh bounds for the follow character seems to not work, which is weird considering it works fine for the patrol character, and 3) This isn't really an issue per se, but I noticed how much darker both the bunker bedroom and ruins ppv's are; I probably won't fix this as I kind of like it, but just thought I would mention it. I'll try and get a better build out later.
I briefly mentioned this in my last devlog, but the premise of this "story" is that some years ago, something turned the rainwater highly toxic, killing any person it came into contact with. This forced any and all survivors to seek shelter, most turning to underground bunkers with water filtration. Over the course of the last 3 years, weird anomalies have begun to appear. You and your family are out of supplies within the bunker, and for the first time, must make the trek out of the bunker to closer examine what these anomalies are and what kind of threat they pose. It's simple, but that's about all I can do with amateur game dev skills and limited time!
